Gist On The Streets: How Nigerians are responding to PVC Collection by Favour Philip
Nigerians are preparing for the 2023 election by getting their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) which would enable them to perform their rights by voting.
Entrepreneur and Media Influencer, Favour Philip took us round some of the PVC Collection Centers to see how people are responding in the collection of their voters card and also encourage Nigerians to get their PVC with the movement #PVCChallenge which she started online. Interestingly the respond hasn’t been so bad as in various ward people come out in their numbers despite the challenges to get their voters card. Find out more in the video

Meanwhile the Collection of voters card was extended by one week by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after a lot of persons complained about the timing being short and slow distribution of the voters card.
The distribution is to end in January while the elections would hold in February.
