See Excerpts of interview below;
My name is Okabo Victory, I am the digital marketer at Agrovest, I am just super excited that we were able to pull this through because before the presentation we have not been sleeping, it’s been sleepless night so I am so happy we made it. I thank NDDC, I thank Port Harcourt Tech expo for the opportunity to pitch our idea.
Okay so what was the process like for you, did you see yourself winning it or not? Well I would say yes I believe so much about the idea, most times the idea was solid but the only problem we had is we haven’t thought about it very well. At this point we are still going to add up some things and get to have a very good product, ofcourse the idea was nice but our only fear was like we have other contestants at the pitch, how would their idea be like and obviously every other idea has been a very good one but I am glad also we had the opportunity to win. Most times as a marketer is not always about the idea but how well your able to sell the solution to your people and how well is valueable to the people around you.
So what are we expecting for Agrovest, By July we should start our workshop for all the farmers in Rivers state, educating them and reassuring them about how important agriculture is, by that July our website should be fully launched and then Agrovest is here to stay, there is no going back.
