Nollywood Rivers State Expresses Gratitude for Support in Late Precious Ofurum burial
In a heartfelt gathering, representatives from Nollywood Rivers State Chapter convened to extend gratitude to all who contributed to the dignified burial of sound engineer Precious Ofurum, a promising talent lost tragically in a recent boat mishap with Junior Pope and others while going for a movie shoot.
The press conference, spearheaded by Mr. Eric Stevenson, Convener of the New Nollywood Rivers State, emphasized the unity and support demonstrated by the Nollywood community, government officials, and well-wishers alike.
Stevenson acknowledged the swift response of fellow practitioners and the formation of a committee to organize the funeral, highlighting the industry’s strength in times of adversity. He commended the solidarity displayed during a memorial walk, which served to raise awareness and garner support from the people of Rivers State.
