Here is what the Federal Government plans to do with European Union donations.

The  European Union donated  21 billion to the Federal Government of Nigeria to help fight against Coronavirus.

Gunmen  attacked Ikirike Police Station of Enugu Command of the Nigerian Police Force.

Ndi Igbo has apologized to former deputy president of the Senate Mr Ike Ekweremadu over attack on Saturday. 

group, which organised the event where the attack took place, described the incident as an embarrassment to the entire Igbo race and Nigeria.

In a statement on Monday, the group said that those involved in the attack would face the wrath of the law.

The statement reads,

Ndi-Igbo Germany wish to offer our unequivocal apology to our special guest of honour, Senator Ike Ekweremadu for the unfortunate treatment misdirected at him by members of Indigenous People of Biafra in Germany during the occasion of our 2nd annual Igbo Cultural Festival and Convention 2019.

“It must be emphasised that Senator Ekweremadu had nothing personal to gain in attending our cultural day.

Rather we have lost the privilege to tap into his reservoir of knowledge.

“No words can describe our shock, our consternation, and our sadness at this inexcusable, shameful and senseless attack. 

“We apologise from the depths of our hearts that you had to experience such a horrible thing in our midst. 

“Our apologies go to Ohaneze Ndi Igbo and to all well-meaning Igbo-Diasporan groups and associations both at home and abroad for this disgrace.

“We sincerely apologize to the National Assembly and indeed to our entire country for such an unwarranted assault on Senator Ekweremadu by the IPOB members in Germany.

“We are committed to working and cooperating with our host country Germany and with her constituted authorities. Ndi–Igbo Germany will let the full weight of the law take its course.”

Ekweremadu’s response

In a post made by Sahara reporters   Mr Ike Ekweremadu stated that he had forgiven his attackers. 

That he believed they were under the influence of hard drugs and as such he will allow the law makers of the state to do their job

Suspected IPOB attacks ekweremadu in Germany.

former deputy  Ike Ekweremadu, was on Saturday disgraced by suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Nuremberg, Germany

The attack occurred at Nuremberg, Germany.

Ekweremadu was dragged around and stoned with different objects, around the venue of the event.

The lawmaker was later whisked away in a car, after several attempts to stop him from escaping.

In the video, one of the attackers was heard saying “imagine, people are dying on a daily basis, people are wailing on a daily basis and we are here enjoying.”

German government has deported a new batch of Nigerian migrants less than 48 hours after the attack on former Deputy President of the Senate Ike Ekweremadu by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) NAN reports.

According to reports, the migrants have already left Frankfurt Airport at 8 a.m.

They were expected to land in Nigeria’s Murtala Mohammed International Airport between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The number of migrants deported was not ascertained as at the time of this report, it was however, gathered that they were picked randomly from different accommodation centres.

It would be recalled Last month two batches of Nigerians were sent back home from the European country.
