There are hundreds of thousands of women to choose from his home country, but Burna Boy settled for UK rapper Stefflon Don.
The couple have been in the news recently following Burna’s Best International Act win at the 2019 BET awards.
However, issues concerning their relationship have been on the discussion table with Stefflon Don at the centre field.
A fan initially took a swipe at Burna Boy for not posting Stefflon Don on his social media pages and adviced the UK artiste to leave him if he does not change.
Stefflon Don replied her post and told the fan that Burna Boy has chosen to keep his social media pages for business only and she understands that.
Now, another person has questioned why Burna Boy is dating a foreigner and not a Nigerian lady tweeting: “LMAO. Burna boy left Nigerian women alone and became happy”
The BET Award winner did not take offense in the comment and rather gave a courteous response to the curious fan.
“Nothing to do with Country oh!” he said. “Love is love Nigerian women are amazing . If you meet Better person , you meet better person.”
