Something you didnt know about the Wizkid and Banky W Tweet
Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Elisha Abbo of Adamawa State, is seen on tape slapping around an innocent woman. All because she said “Take it easy.”
Elisha Abbo, is said to be the youngest senator in the country, at 41. He had reportedly gotten into an argument with the shopkeeper, and, perhaps power drunk, had put a call through to police officers, including the Assistant Inspector General of Police.
They called the Assistant Inspector General of Police, over an argument, guys.
It’s funny, because it is in this same country that you will call the police when you need actual help and…
This same policemen, particularly the Police Commissioner in Charge of the Federal Capital Territory, Bala Ciroma, told Premium Times that “he would like to receive the victim at his office urgently to explore a resolution of the case.” Nothing about bringing charges against the senator. A resolution, he says. Not justice.
“This is the face of a woman beater.” “This is the face of a coward.” Those are the words social media users have for Senator Elisha Abbo.
Rapper MI described the senator as a “f***ing woman beater” and must face the full wrath of the law. Banky W said this is why he’s been insisting we pay attention to who we let into the National Assembly. “Shame on him,” he said, “and shame on us for allowing the worst of us to claim the title of Senator.”

After the head pastor of COZA was accused of raping Busola Dakolo, a lot of celebrities have come out to share their own rape and sexual abuse experiences and experiences of people close to them on social media.
Rapper Skales recounted on Twitter how his father abused his mother several times when he was just five years old.
Actress Adesua Etomi has also shared her sexual abuse story on social media.
According to the wife of Banky W, she was touched inappropriately by her school teacher. Luckily for her, she was able to escape before more harm could be done to her.
“Mine? Lesson teacher. Man actually grabbed tits that I didn’t even really have. Ran out of the house. Told my aunty. She tried to make me continue the lessons.
Her exact words were ‘if your teacher in school makes a pass, will you stop going to class?
My mum believed me though”
Musician Banky W and public service reformer Dr Joe Abah have publicly promised to provide funds for Busola Dakolo to cover her legal fees should Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo sue her.
But Biodun Fatoyinbo, founder of the Common Wealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), has denied allegations of rape against him by Busola Dakolo and is threatening to “pursue every measure within the ambits of the law to bring the culprits to justice”.
Although Fatoyinbo admitted that Busola Dakolo and her family “attended the church during the early start of the church in 1999”, he claimed he “never had any private interactions with her beyond my pastoral duties.”
Reacting to the pastor’s denial and threat to sue, Dr. Abah said he will “set aside a little money to contribute to her defence” and pleaded with others to do same.
His plea seems to have fallen on fertile grounds as Banky W also promised to assist in that regard.
