Atiku Abubakar


Hmm some hours ago the Supreme Court dismissed the People Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s case brought against the ruling of the Election Tribunal, in respect of d 2019 Presidential election.

The unanimous ruling stated that it lacked merit and after that decision this is what Atiku had to say;

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar petition to challenge the presidential poll result which saw All Progressive Party (APC)‘s Muhammadu Buhari as the President has began hearing at the tribunal today.

Reports states that a 5 man panel headed by the president of the appeal court, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, has started hearing the case which began by 9 am today.

Confirming the development on Tuesday, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), a member of the petitioners’ legal team, said the tribunal is on but refused to give details.

The election body, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Buhari winner of the February 23 elections but the petitioners in their 139-page petition claim Atiku won by 1.6 million votes as originally shown on INEC’s servers.
