Reacting to the news Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike told the Chiefs and Leaders of Andoni Local Government to ensure the immediate release of the expatriates or he will formally withdraw their recognition as Chiefs.
Some persons from the Local Government said Governor Wike shouldnt blame the chiefs as they are not in any form involved in the case, also in a fresh report it has been confirmed to be two foreigners that were kidnapped not three.
DSP Omoni said; That they are close to rescuing this foreigners, he stated that they have put in place necessary machinery that would engender their untimely release.
