An imam was brave enough to hid about 262 Christians in a mosque during the Plateau Killings on Sunday, the Imam is from from the village of Nghar Yelwa in Plateau State.

This is how he narrated it to BBC Pidgin; “I first carry di women enta my personal house go hide dem dia, den I come cari di men enta di mosque go hide.” According to him the total number of people he hid were 262 and they are still in the mosque cause they are homeless.

Other villagers have left to a nearby village for safety.

Nigeria is in trouble! Recent attack especially this week alone is scary and has resulted to loss of so many lives which is heart breaking.

The issue of herdsmen attack is the major challenge Nigeria is facing over the years especially in the tenure of President Buhari. Their recent attack in Plateau state got a lot of people down, about 200 people or more bled and died in the hands of this herdsmen who butchered them, honestly is this fair and people are asking President Buhari what is he doing?

Nigeria really needs Prayer, the President is termed a failure already. A recent report even stated that we are now the poorest nation in the world when we have enough resources, very sad and shameful.

The attacks keeps going on in other states and we can still feel slow decision making. Others sad occurrences is the Bodija attack (Civilian and Police clash), Ebonyi and Ukelle Cross River Clash, Tanker Explosion in Otedola bridge killing many and more…..

Someone said; Lord please raise a judge for us just like you did for the Israelites ! We need someone with your spirit . A hero that is ready to drive out the evil ones with your help. We don’t need a tribalistic person. One who would put an end to this!

And honestly we need this Prayer……God help us…..Amen

I am sure someone would say President Buhari for the poor record in Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) 🙄.

Ishaq Oloyede, the registrar of the JAMB has revealed that just 25% of the students who took the exams in 2018 passed. He announced this at a meeting at the Bola Babalakin Auditorium in Gbongan, Osun State, on Tuesday.

Oloyede said out of the 1,603,181 who took the exam, only 414,696, making 25.09, scored above 200.

A total of 739,490 students scored above 180, he revealed, and added that the scores released by the board do not make for the cut-0ff mark.

The cut-off, he said, will be arrived at after a cumulative consideration of the scores of the students.

The Defending Champions Germany are out of the World Cup, this is also another big blow as another top team did not qualify for the next round.

See our analysis/review after the game;

The final matches in Group F saw Germany take on South Korea while Mexico and Sweden did battle. Germany needing a win to make the knockout stages were in command of possession but couldn’t really trouble the Korean defence with goalkeeper Jo keeping his side in the game coupled with Germany’s wastefulness in front of goal.

The second period began as the first had ended with Germany dictating most of the play while Korea sat back trying to catch the germans on the counter. The Germans couldn’t find a way through and paid dearly in the 91st minute when a Son Heung-Min corner found its way to Kim Young-Gwon who scored. The goal was originally ruled as an offside but VAR reviews granted the goal.

Germany in search of an equalizer to save face were left badly exposed at the back with german goalkeeper Neuer in the opposition half as he tried to help his team leaving korean captain Son to score with almost the last kick of the game. Germany continued the trend of champions being eliminated in the group stages with Italy in 2010 and Spain in 2014 also experiencing “the curse of champions”.

Last night wasn’t a good night at all for Nigeria and the Super Eagles team, sadly they were defeated by Argentina 2-1 although we would have won but our penalty was denied which was very obvious.

No matter what happens Super Eagles need more words of encouragement cause honestly they played well. Below are some of the best encouragement that was given to the Eagles;

“Great game . The score line doesn’t fluctuate the position of our hearts. We won together, we lost together. We remain proud of you guys.”

“The Super Eagles tried, no doubt but every dog has its day.”

“I’m proud of Nigeria. They fought Hard I’m proud of Nigeria. They fought Hard I’m proud of Nigeria. They fought Hard I’m proud of Nigeria. They fought Hard I’m proud of Nigeria. They fought Hard”.

“John Obi Mikel is a Player John Obi Mikel is a Captain John Obi Mikel is a Leader John Obi Mikel is a Legend !”

These were some of the words of encouragement from various fans to Nigerian team and FIFA needs to see this too, WE ARE ANGRY….

We are all sad about the Killing in Plateau state by Herdsmen in Nigeria and President Buhari needs to take note of all these below;

“Between the darkness of Plateau State and the Brookings Report on poverty, the last couple of days should be the biggest jolt for every single Nigerian.”

“Response to Plateau crisis
Intelligence Response Team Special Tactical Squad
Tactical Intelligence Unit
2 Surveillance Helicopters & 5 APCs
3 Police Mobile Force Units
2 Counter Terrorism Cells
Police Intelligence Unit
Add conventional Police
DHQ Special forces & Combat Helo”

What happened in Plateau is tragic & unacceptable. It’s the responsibility of the government (FG & state) to protect lives & property of all Nigerians. No excuses! It’s not enough to issue statements.The govt should bring the culprits/sponsors to justice & compensate the victims.

These are very important issues and President Buhari needs to take note.

Please note you can help the wounded by donating blood at Jos University Teaching Hospital or Plateau Hospital blood-banks please or call these numbers; 07059473022, 08038907662, 08075391844, 09053872296. They are Distress Call & Situation Reporting Numbers for residents of Plateau State wishing to reach the Police Special Intervention Force and Police Special Investigation Team on the ground in the State.

Its a very sad moment for Nigeria singer Dbanj after he lost his first and only son by drowning in swimming pool at home. The singer stated these are trying times but his God is forever faithful.

It was an unfortunate incident but someone said; “People are so insensitive and callous. Was listening to the radio this morning and heard the female reporter say about Dbanj’s son that the mom was probably pressing her phone while her son drowned. Like what the hell?? If you don’t have anything good to say, say nothing at all.”

“It’s sad that people are blaming Dbanj and his wife for the death of their child. It’s like some of you don’t know kids. Even if you blink for a second, they’re somewhere else.”

Port Harcourt is that city in Rivers state that if you tell someone your coming to reside they quickly shout, “Hey your going to the oil city with plenty money” Well that’s not even all about Port Harcourt though, Nigerian based African Hiphop Emcee Dr. Barz told a story about Port Harcourt with a video titled “This Is Pitakwa.”

The video was inspired by  Falz’ “This is Nigeria” and was directed by Denniz Gbedula and also features some of the best Port Harcourt entertainers.
