Another fresh case in Nigeria and more reports on COVID19

The COVID19 spread continues, Nigeria has recorded 10 new cases of COVID19 in Lagos and FCT which makes it a total of 22 cases in Nigeria: Lagos 16, FCT 3, Ekiti 1 & Ogun 2. Two have been discharged. All cases are clinically stable and receiving adequate care.

All are Nigerians, 9 returning from Canada, France, Netherlands, Spain & UK, 1 close contact of a known cause. In FCT, the cases are being treated at the  University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada. In Lagos, the COVID19 cases are being treated at Infectious Disease Hosp., Lagos.

Also, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority has announced the restriction of all international flights into Abuja (ABV) & Lagos (LOS) effective 23 Marc, 2020. All 5 international airports in Nigeria have restricted flights to prevent COVID19 spread.

Meanwhile, Emirates suspends flights to Nigeria and 112 destinations
Following the continuous spread of the coronavirus -COVID19 across the world, Emirates Airlines has suspended flights to Lagos, Abuja, and 112 destinations. The airline advised that passengers should visit their website for periodic information and update regarding this development. Below are the routes affected with possible resumption dates:
